Davit systems for liferafts
The davit system for life rafts can lift a fully loaded life raft with 14 to 33 persons, with a lowering height (m) std 20. The safe working load and outreach of the davit is normally determined by the size of the life raft, so there is a limited range of standard designs which can be adapted to some extent to meet individual needs.
